Aerostar 601P/602P/700P Aviation Training

Aerostar 601P/602P/700P Aviation Training, Simulator Training, SIMCOMInitial and recurrent Aerostar simulator-based training is available for pressurized models of the Aerostar series of piston-twins at SIMCOM's Orlando, Florida and Scottsdale, Arizona training centers.

Pilots can choose to use either a Piper Navajo or Twin Cessna visual-motion simulator for comparable Aerostar training or opt to substitute flight time in the actual airplane instead of time in the simulator. Multi-engine and instrument procedures are stressed in these Aerostar training courses with emphasis in the simulator placed on engine failures and resulting single-engine operations. Aerostar courses offered include a five day initial which includes 6 hours of left seat simulator instruction, a three day recurrent with 6 hours of left seat simulator instruction or an optional two day express recurrent which also includes 6 hours of left seat simulator time.

Upon successful completion of your Aerostar training you will receive a SIMCOM completion certificate for your appropriate Aerostar simulator course, which is insurance company approved. Most Aerostar training courses are taught with one instructor teaching a maximum of two students and with the same instructor providing both the classroom and simulator training. This allows your Aerostar training to be tailored to your individual interests and needs.
