Piper Navajo/P-Navajo Aviation Training
SIMCOM offers Piper Navajo simulator training for the full line of Piper Navajo piston-twins at its Orlando, Florida training center. For this Navajo training, a visual-motion simulator is used that is configured to match the most popular avionics used in the Navajo fleet today.
Multi-engine and instrument procedures are stressed during Navajo and P-Navajo training in the simulator with emphasis on engine failures and resulting single-engine operations. Navajo courses offered include a five day initial , initial which includes 6 hours of left seat simulator instruction, a three day recurrent with 6 hours of left seat simulator instruction or an optional two day express recurrent which also includes 6 hours of left seat simulator time.
Upon successful completion of your Piper Navajo training you will receive a SIMCOM completion certificate for your appropriate Navajo simulator course, which is insurance company approved. Most Navajo training courses are taught with one instructor teaching a maximum of two students and with the same instructor providing both the classroom and simulator training. This allows your Navajo training to be tailored to your individual interests and needs.
