Mitsubishi MU-2 Aviation Training
SIMCOM is the factory authorized and approved training provider for the Mitshubishi MU-2 twin-engine turboprop. All models and variants of the MU-2 are taught at SIMCOM at its training center location in Orlando, Florida.
SIMCOM offers MU-2 training programs that meet the requirements of SFAR 108 (Special Federal Aviation Regulation) for training required of all MU-2 pilots to act as pilot in command per FAA regulations. Two visual-motion simulators are utilized for MU-2 training in Orlando and courses include SFAR approved initial training as well as recurrent training in either a three day or two day format. In-aircraft training can also be arranged for those pilots desiring to supplement simulator training with in-aircraft experience. In the simulators, engine-out procedures are extensively practiced and other important areas of operation are practiced to proficiency. SIMCOM's MU-2 instructors benefit from many hours of actual aircraft experience and from having the factory's direct support with pertinent and up to date safety information to keep MU-2 pilots informed and current.
Upon successful completion of your MU-2 training you will receive a SIMCOM completion certificate for your appropriate MU-2 simulator course, which is insurance company approved. Most MU-2 training courses are taught with one instructor teaching a maximum of two students and with the same instructor providing both the classroom and simulator training. This allows your MU-2 training to be tailored to your individual interests and needs.
