Piper Mojave Aviation Training
SIMCOM offers Piper Mojave simulator training for the Piper Mojave piston-twin at its Orlando, Florida training center. For this Mojave training, a Piper Navajo visual-motion simulator is used that closely resembles the instrument panel layout and configuration of the Mojave.
Multi-engine and instrument procedures are stressed during Mojave training in the simulator with emphasis placed on engine failures and resulting single-engine operations. Navajo courses offered include a five day initial initial which includes 6 hours of left seat simulator instruction, a three day recurrent with 6 hours of left seat simulator instruction or an optional two day express recurrent which also includes 6 hours of left seat simulator time.
Upon successful completion of your Piper Mojave training you will receive a SIMCOM completion certificate for your appropriate Mojave simulator course, which is insurance company approved. Most Piper Mojave training courses are taught with one instructor teaching a maximum of two students and with the same instructor providing both the classroom and simulator training. This allows your Mojave training to be tailored to your individual interests and needs.
